Materiály sú ľanové plátno, vlnené zmesové flauše a ľanové a vlnené priadze. Kostýmy sú celé šité aj vyšívané ručne. Ženský opasok je tkaný na kartičkách.

Incredible work!!! I was wondering about the knife that the Anglo-Saxon costume includes – was it typical for women to wear knives and would nobles have worn them too?

Thank you! To be honest, I have no idea about the knife. I made these costumes a few years ago just as an experiment. Since then I am interested in Slavs and their realm of Great Moravia (8th-9th century A.D.) and there are lots of differences between the Slavs and the Anglo-Saxons.
But I suppose, that a knife, as a tool of everyday use, could have been worn at least by working women. Maybe by noblewomen too.
